At F1 we view our role as that of technology counselors and advocates. We take this role very seriously. It is our job to see to it that our clients are using tools that help them solve their business problems without creating new technological problems. We'll help select the tools that you need and we'll help make these tools work for you.

We believe in using tried and true technologies and we never mark up software or hardware for resale to our clients. Where we have negotiated reseller relationships with vendors, we have done so because we feel that their products currently represent best of breed technology and we pass on any discounts we receive to our clients. We feel that our interests should never be in conflict with those of our clients.

Monthly retainer fees? We NEVER charge them. Our clients pay for our work when we perform it and never pay just to maintain a relationship with us.

Managed Services? To us, this is the old wine of retainer fees in new bottles. Our billing is for time and materials only. You pay for what you use and nothing more.

You may hear Managed Service Providers refer to our business model pejoratively as "Break/Fix." We reject this characterization. We use all the modern proactive monitoring and automation tools that they do. The difference is that instead of leveraging those efficiencies to create a recurring revenue stream for ourselves, we pass those savings on to our clients.
